Came here after the "best taco" article came out announcing the Pork Belly Taco something special. And, boy, it did NOT disappoint. Wait staff will take your order at the table but it's a small room so they're never far if you need something. Finding the spot was a little confusing and it's in the back of a strip mall. The outside isn't anything special but the inside is very well maintained with fun decor. But the food was AMAZING. We got a couple of each of the tacos, three tacos per person, and it was too much food. Never have I been so satisfied by a taco. WHEN I go back, I will get two tacos per person.

Amazing food & service!!! I've been reading all the reviews trying to decide what to try! We went with the Bread & Butter, avocado tartare & the beef short rib. They were outstanding! Cooked perfectly and very flavorful! We will definitely be back! Ohhh, and fantastic Sangria! Yum!

I've had the pleasure of dining at Aroma twice now, with my most recent visit being on 2/19/2025. The 5-star reviews are no hype; this place is seriously legit delicious and amazing. The most standout items I tried are as follows: 1. Bread and butter: This is not just bread and butter, my friends. The bread is perfection... sliced thick, toasted perfectly, and if I'm not mistaken an incredibly well-made sourdough. On my last visit, it came with an incredible herb butter, cheese, salami assortment, and smoked salmon. I would seriously go to Aroma just for this. 2. Avocado tartare: This dish was architecturally interesting - with plantain chips surrounding a thick puck of avocado goodness like a mini Stonehenge. The flavors were incredibly smoky... so good! 3. Peruvian ceviche: DO NOT skip this. I got this appetizer both times. I can't possibly explain just how fresh and flavorful this was. I could literally drink the ceviche sauce, omgoodness, and am salivating just thinking about this dish. Honestly, every single entree and dessert I managed to try have been amazing as well. Aroma can do no wrong as far as I'm concerned, but these three are a definite must get!

Another fabulous meal at Aroma, If you have not tried it you definitely have to check it out. It is absolutely a culinary experience located in Green Valley on Sunset in Green Valley Parkway in a nondescript shopping center. You'll find this small storefront restaurant. Don't let the outside for you. This could be in a major resort And a Michelin rated restaurant in the near future.

Aroma Latin American Cocina is a restaurant in Henderson, NV that fuses traditional Latin American dishes with global flavors. The chef/owner, Steve Kestler, was a 2024 Finalist for the Best Chef: Southwest category of the James Beard Foundation Restaurant and Chef Awards. The restaurant was also ranked #1 on Yelp's list of Top 100 Taco Spots in the United States, 2023. I stopped by during my winter break adventures at the end of 2024, and I ended up ordering the enchiladas for my meal. The composed dish consists of gochujang chicken tinga, salsa verde, queso fundido, guacamole, Korean pickles, & kimchi rice. Interestingly enough, based on my past experiences eating enchiladas in the United States, I generally consider them a sustenance dish and not a joyful eating dish (for me personally). That was not the case here at all. These enchiladas were packed with flavor & truly divine! I enjoyed every single bite, and I'm so glad I kept an open mind when I ordered my food. Aroma Latin American Cocina is now one of two restaurants (along with Cocina Madrigal in Phoenix) that I would return to specifically to eat their enchiladas.

I had heard good things about Aroma Latin American Cocina. We went on a weeknight and arrived just after they opened. The outside of the restaurant is very unassuming (easy to miss). Inside is a bit small but cute. Service was prompt and helpful. We ordered on platter of 4 tacos (pork belly, carne asada, and fish), an order of beef short ribs in mole and horchata. All of it was delicious. Horchata was not too sweet and just the right amount of cinnamon. We thought the fish taco was outstanding. It was lightly battered and deliciously crispy. The other two were great as well. The beef short rib was sooo tender, no knife needed. The mole on its own was a tiny bit sweet but when paired with the esquites, it was perfect. We then decided to share a dessert, pastel de queso which was described to us as a deconstructed cheesecake. It was soooo good. The "cheesecake" was fluffier than standard cheesecake. The guava dots of flavor were perfection.

mmm i'm not exaggerating when i say this is a MUST TRY!!! the flavors are so unique and the presentation is a work of art. i was excited to try the gaucho sandwich but they unfortunately only have it for lunch. will def be back for that. service is pretty slow but the interior is gorgeous and relaxing, and you can enjoy time with your company ordered: - aroma street tacos: 10/10, pork belly tacos are so crispy and filling. they give you a HUGE piece of pork so worth it for the price - beef short rib: 10/10, large piece of mole and nice side of corn - churrasquito: 9/10, wish there was more picanha since it was sooo yummy, the sides were delicious and wish there was also more

I'm keeping this at 5 stars. Their status on my taco list has dropped, however. I can't put my finger on it yet. The pork belly and steak tacos were good but not amazing like last time. The store bought tortillas somehow stood out more this time... and that's not a good thing.

Came on a Thursday afternoon for lunch, and were quickly seated. Good customer service, but prepared to wait a tad longer than you're used to for the food. But when it comes out, oh it is 100% worth it. Not even kidding you the best hispanic food I've ever had!!! Gaucho Sandwich (10/10) - For $19, they give a ton of meat. Plus a side of potatoes. - The Picahana is grilled to perfection, so tender. The sauce they put on the bread is the perfect complement. - Bread is super cripsy, but not hard to bite through!!! - Ideal sandwich, would 100% get this again Pork Belly Taco (10/10) - Pork Belly was delicious. Amazing meat, crispy, melt in your mouth!!! Doesn't taste overly pork-ey, so don't be afraid to order this!!! - I 100% would get this again. Worth the $7 Carne Asada Taco (6/10) - It was good, they give lots of meat, but for $7, idk if this is absolutely worth it, since it's not as amazing as the pork belly taco. I feel like I've had similar carne asada tacos for $2 in other places. - Carne Asada has good flavor, but it was definitely not as stand-out and unique as the pork belly taco Enchiladas (6/10) - Wouldn't recommend. - Chicken was slightly overcooked, tasted a little tough, and it didn't feel like there was enough sauce to go with the dry chicken. Also they give a tiny scoop of avocado on top. For $26, i'd expect a little bit more avocados. - Comes with a side of Kimchi fried rice that is fine, a little bit on the greasy side, and slightly interesting to eat with enchiladas. - Overall would not get this, as the chicken was too dry. Overall: - Gets a 5/5 stars b/c their Gaucho Sandwich + Pork Belly Tacos were SO GOOD!!!!! - Can't recommend the enchiladas (dry chicken) - Carne asada taco is fine, would prefer 2x Pork Belly tacos
